Feeling Jingly-Jangly? Featured
It's scary times at the moment, everyday we're waking up to new news which is very unsettling and disturbing.
It's completely normal to feel a bit jingly-jangly (what a great word!) or anxious..... however you want to describe it.
But what comfort we have in our good good Father.
If you're feeling a bit anxious at the moment take action before it overwhelms you.
As Christians we can start with prayer.
Take a moment to pause, take a big breath, lean in and feel His embrace....rest assured He's not doing any 'social distancing'.
Feel His calm, feel His reassurance, His embrace and know that He is in control. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
I love Psalm 91:2
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
When fear knocks on your door, don't invite it in for dinner, thanks to Max Lucado for that line.
If you are feeling anxious specifically because of COVID-19 take a look at CDC’s Coping with a Disaster or Traumatic Event Web page. It gives steps that families, community and organizational leaders, state and local government, and emergency responders can take to help themselves and others cope.
Otherwise turn this up loud and rejoice that God's got this!
