Wattie's tomato sauce has unfortunately been marked joint last in an unscientific poll in Australia, voting on the best sauce or ketchup.
The poll, conducted by the Daily Mail Australia, asked people for their favorite red sauce.
Heinze ketchup was the top brand followed by Aussie brands Fountain and Rosella.
It was not good news for though who came joint last with Masterfoods tomato sauce.
The poll sprouted a lot of talk on Twitter with MasterChef judge Matt Preston weighing in saying he prefers BBQ sauce but if pressed he likes ketchup.
Australian tomato sauce tends to be thinner and more vinegary than ketchup. I’m more a BBQ sauce sort of a guy! But if pushed I’m ketchup over sauce... https://t.co/0bmzPkoBeZ— Matt Preston (@MattsCravat) September 7, 2019
Why would people dislike our beloved T sauce.
