Tom talks to Humanitarian Photographer, Mother and Story Teller Helen Manson

Helen Manson is due in New Zealand next week on a speaking tour with Tearfund

"Helen’s work has taken her around the world to some of the most challenging environments documenting famine, refugee settlements, post war environments, child sponsorship, micro-enterprise, trauma counseling and disaster zones. Having travelled to more than 35 countries including places like Iraq, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia and India, she’s gathered invaluable experience in working cross-culturally with people from all walks of life."

Tom got to talk to Helen from her home in Uganda before she makes the trip about her story, travel and what photo has significantly impacted her. Feel free to listen to the interview below.
