Five weeks on and there is no update on investigations into leaks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Last month the State Services Commission appointed Paula Rebstock to lead an inquiry into how Cabinet papers about cost-cutting measures at MFAT had been made public. Labour MP Phil Goff used the information to put Foreign Minister Murray McCully on the spot in Parliament.
According to the States service Commission the inquiry is still continuing and no date has been given for when findings will be released. It's reported even Parliamentary messengers have been questioned as part of the investigation.
