A fourth inquest into the death of Azaria Chamberlain has determined that she was taken by a dingo.
The nine week old vanished from an Ayres Rock camping ground in 1980, and her New Zealand-born mother Lindy was later convicted of her murder.
That conviction was overturned following the discovery of new evidence.
The ruling came this afternoon from Northern Territory Deputy Coroner Elizabeth Morris, in Darwin.
Deputy Coroner Elizabeth Morris has concluded that the nine week baby girl was snatched from a camp site at Ayres Rock, in 1980.
Azaria's mother Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton was on hand for the ruling and hugged other family members when it was delivered.
The finding has brought closure for Azaria's parents Lindy and Michael, who've waited 32 years to hear those words.
Coroner Elizabeth Morris has apologised to the Chamberlains for all they've endured.
