EU diplomat says international community must act on Syria

Damascus-Syria Syria's failure to implement a six point peace plan drawn up by former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan could see the European Union implement sanctions.

The Houla massacre a week ago, in which more than a hundred people died, has only increased doubts that President Bashir al-Assad will implement the plan.

European Union Chargé d'Affaires Michalis Rokas told RBG News for Rhema's "NewsRun" programme that if the international community does not step in, the outcome can only get worse.
